Sinopsis

Colleges and Universities have been undergone of a tripartite pressure at the changeable environment of the Brazilian society: a) to be engaged to the principles of efficiency and to the institutional demands from the National Council of Education (CNE); b) to the learning requirements from the students; and c) from the market orientation. Hence, the contemporary discussions have been focused on the need of a mechanism able to reduce the dynamic distance between theory and practice in undergraduation courses, as well, the need of a mechanism that articulates the interest of enterprises and universities. The example of experience presented by the fast increase of the “Junior-Enterprises” movement, worked by undergraduation students, has been considered succeed in Brazil and converges to this debate. Nevertheless, the also fast grown of Incubation inside universities has added discussion about the new roles played by these institutions for the economic development. The main goal is designed to show the kind of linkage engendered by the “Junior-Enterprises” and by the Incubation Movement inside Universities, in an analysis that overviews the main elements of success in these interactions.
